While Apple continues to work on its in-house “LLM Siri” project, the company has reportedly engaged with OpenAI and Anthropic. The discussions involve potentially training versions of their sophisticated AI models to run on Apple’s cloud infrastructure for testing purposes. This exploration comes after Apple faced delays with its AI-enabled Siri, which was originally slated for 2025 but pushed to 2026 or later due to various technical challenges.
